The history of fpc

FPC was originally started in 1971 by Pastor and Sister Wendell Myers. Pastor Myers and his wife came to Washington from their home  state of California and made Washington their home. The gallery below showcases former Pastor and Sister Wendell Myers as well as the current church building when first purchased in the early 90’s.  They labored faithfully until January 1999. At that time they retired from Pastoral work and Pastor Kenneth Bow became the pastor of FPC. Pastor Bow is a native of California.

Pastor Kenneth Bow began his full time ministry in 1976 at the age of 23. He spent the first few years traveling in evangelistic work. He then moved to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada to begin a brand new work. He devoted four years there and left behind a church that is still prospering today. He was next called to Madera California where he spent 11 years. He then traveled again as a full time evangelist for several years  before accepting the Senior Pastor position at FPC of Puget Sound in January of 1999.

FPC was originally named Truth Tabernacle, and was located in central Auburn until the late 1980’s. The congregation sold the old church to Auburn High School for an administration building. They then moved to the current location in the early 1990’s and have since paid off all indebtedness. To God be the glory! FPC is a growing church with a love for families and hurting people of every nation and culture. You are invited to come and experience the Pentecostal way of having church!  It is an adventure you will not want to miss.
