FPC was
originally started in 1971 by Pastor and Sister Wendell Myers.
Pastor Myers and his wife came to Washington from their home
state of California and have made Washington their home. They
labored faithfully until January 1999. At that time they
retired from Pastoral work and turned the Church over to Pastor
Kenneth Bow.
Pastor Bow is a
native of California. He began his full time ministry in 1976
at the age of 23. He spent the first five years traveling in
evangelistic work. He then moved to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan,
Canada to begin a brand new work. He devoted five years there
and left behind a church that is still prospering today. He was
next called to Madera California where he spent 11 years. He
then traveled again as a full time evangelist for several years
before accepting the Senior Pastor position at FPC of Puget
Sound in January of 1999.
FPC was
originally named Truth Tabernacle, and was located in central
Auburn until the late 1980’s. We sold the old church to Auburn
High School for an administration building. We moved to our
current location in the early 1990’s and have since paid off all
our indebtedness. To God be the glory!
We are a
growing church with a love for families and hurting people of
every nation and culture. We invite you to come and experience
the Pentecostal way of having church! It is an adventure you
will not want to miss.
